Startled star-flecked starlings flock;
sky-fish, shoal-fleet, feathered-school.
They swivel and swoop, swerve and swirl;
a seesaw sea-soar.
Frolicsome frenzy, a fanciful feat
flurry and flutter, flirt and flit.
A firmament-fin,
a seraphic-shark,
sing songs, shrill shanties;
a saturating symphony.
Until
the sun falters,
the swell founders,
the form scatters
and the spell folds.
